The Quick and Easy Way to Read Music

Now you can very quickly learn how to read keyboard music, even if you've tried and failed before. Parents and teachers will love to see how easily children can learn, including those who are very young or who like to play by ear. While the ideas presented here can be adapted to other instruments, this course uses the piano keyboard.

Limit yourself to working with this program for just 20 minutes at a time. Then make a note of how far you got (there are page numbers and scene codes in the upper right of the pages.) Before long you will be able to finish the program. In less than 20 minutes you can begin reading music. The more often you repeat the program, the better you will get.

The new edition of the Suzuki piano books with a recording by Internationally known pianist Seizo Azuma, (who I first heard when he was just 9 years old, playing all three movements of Bach's Italian Concerto flawlessly) contains some delightful pieces by Bela Bartok. I find the Mikrokosmos Volume One by Bartok, works very well with this program. I highly recommend these books and Seizo's recordings.
